FieLd cAmP..
Woooo Hoooo!!! my 7 days field camp is finally over lo.. so happy man.. actualli once field camp is over.. BMT is considered over le.. cos wat remains are juz veri easy stuffs.. hope wat my sergeant says is true.. actually still left some major events like SIT test (SITuational test) which external validators will come and access u in a 3 days field camp to see if u possess leadership qualities anot.. den still got grenade... SOC (Standard Obstacles Course).. all of this will happen next week.. so ya lo.. sad to say.. i haf to be confine for next weekend and onli allow to book out on Chinese New Year Eve.. sianzz.. den i tink still left with IPPT and BCCT lo.. now let me talk abt my 7days field camp..
Field Camp Eve - its my bookin day.. actualli we suppose to book in around 8 plus.. but due to wrong instruction given wrongly by our officer.. we book in late.. as a results.. we as a recruits are being rush like mad.. there is no inspection for e things we brought in.. den we are given veri little time to pack our field bag and pack our duffel b ag as re-supply all tis.. den everybody in my bunk is so gan jiong tt they veri hot temper.. -_-".. den when lights off.. we still packing.. so haf to pack with torch light.. den sianz.. and we slept veri late.. but tis is oso a good thing.. cos i can wait till 12 midnight to see if anyone will msg me on my bday to wish me anot.. haha.. juz joking la.. my best frd, Shiyun msged me at ard 10 plus.. but as i was damn busy tt time.. i nv reply her.. den Xuwen and Huiying msged me.. Thanx for remembering.. wa liew.. dunno y le.. i could not slp throughout e nite.. maybe juz now too rush liao.. den my adrenaline overflow.. haha.. actualli many oso cant slp.. my buddy did not slp.. we even chat for a short while.. haha.. den e next thing i noe is its morning lo.. haha..
Field Camp 1st day (my birthday) - practically no one noe its my birthday.. cos i nv tell them.. anyway.. we were being rushed again.. we haf to draw arms den field bag inspection all tis.. whoa.. our field bag is so damn heavy la.. -_-".. at around 8 plus.. we set off to our 1st camp site, Pema Teng.. actualli its a 4 km route march.. but e School 2 CO (Commanding Officer) ordered e company to marched around e camp site 2 times.. in e end we had a 9km route march.. den tired la.. many fell out.. i especially tired.. cos i was pushing those who cant take it and made them finish e march.. while marching i help them carry e field bag a while to lessen their load.. i oso picked up stuffs tt my frd and instructor accidentally dropped.. and i ran here and there.. haha.. shag.. when we finally reached.. it was a relieved.. after some cooled down and briefing.. we began to pitch our basha tent.. oh man.. while pitching i accidentally broke one of my basha sticks.. sianz.. but luckily it was still usable.. oh.. for ur info.. pitching of tent was practically a tekan session for e instructors.. they scolded us tt e tents we pitched were not up to standard and we were too slow.. and all e sticks were not in line.. den we haf our lunch which is combat ration la.. oh well.. juz one word for e food.. SUCKS!!! i tink it tasted worst den dog food la.. how to eat.. we haf to tore a small opening to e food den squeezed e food out like wat we done to out tooth paste.. e rice is hard lo.. den.. nvm.. it juz sucks.. we oso haf some IFC (Introduction to Field Camp) lessons.. den got some practice for fire movements.. den got practice for crawling all tis.. den oso got learn how to determine distance and drawing info on e range card..den at nite we haf our 1st powder bath.. oh well.. we all had a culture shock.. we had to strip to underwear den powdered.. if u tink juz simply put powder den it is wrong la.. we haf to powder like wat we usually do as our normal bathing.. tt include powdering e face and hair!!! it made us look like ghost.. den we had to let e instructors checked.. one of which is we had to pull our underwear den released.. if there was a cloud.. u had passed!! haha.. after tt we had a ghost story telling section.. den we went to slp after RO.. oh well.. had to slp in uniform and boots.. oh ya.. e toilets.. shit holes were digged for us.. all we had to do is shit den pulled some powders to remove smell den cover it with soils.. den a white tape is put across trees to tell us tt tt is a peeing point.. ya lo.. wat a day for my bday.. new experience..
2nd day - not used to no clock.. we fell in late as we tried to took our breakfast.. so we kana tekan.. we had a 2.5 km run in vest slack in e morning.. quite xiong cos got up slope and ground veri pumpy.. den i was leading e songs.. haha.. den we had our IFC lessons again.. tis time we learned how to camouflage ourself.. hmmm.. 1st time when applying camou cream quite disgusting la.. its practically painting on e face.. but after a while den used to it le.. den we went to nearby vegetation to do real camouflage.. we had to pluck grasses and put on us.. den hide in e bushes.. quite amazing sia.. it really works.. in one glance u don see anything le.. but when e instructors asked some to demo.. den asked them to take out.. e view is realli amazing man.. COOL!!! den got test one.. u suppose to hide urself.. yet able to noe wat is happening in front of u.. haha.. i managed to get e most correct answers.. haha.. den at nite oso nothing la.. juz powder bath all tis lo.. oh ya.. we kana tekan tt nite bcos of one stupid guy.. attitude prob.. ask him to fall in for sentry duty den he take his own sweet time.. in e end we kana pumped bcos of him and he nv got pumped.. damn it.. but e happy thing is tt.. tt nite is e first time i saw fire flies.. so beautiful lo.. so happy man.. i doubt many pple wont get to see in their life time.. oh well.. e food sucks too.. i practically leave on fruit bars and biscuits liao.. haix.. tt nite.. den i told my buddy its my bday e nite before.. but i am veri sad.. i kept thinking whether my ex will wish me anot.. tt is my bday wish.. veri simple onli.. but i cant noe onli until field camp finish cos i don haf hp.. haix.. i tear a little tt nite.. silently and alone.. but its alright.. i used to it le..
3rd day - we woke up veri early to packed our field bag and tore down our basha tent.. cos we had to set off to our 2nd camp site which is e oil palm.. we 1st route march around 3 km to Unom.. whoa.. although veri short but e ground got alot of stone and got veri high slope.. so damn shagged man.. there is a training shack.. so we haf IFC lesson there too.. we learn abt fire movements.. and artillary drill there.. den after tt we set off for anot 3 km route march to another place to rest again.. den set off to oil palm.. whoa.. at oil palm e grass quite tall.. so e insects are more.. oso more different.. haha.. den we rest a while start building basha tent again.. needless to say.. its tekan session!! haha.. nvm la.. will get used to it de.. we had our resupply there.. den afternoon we practice our fire movements and fire blanks.. whoa.. damn slack.. cos we keep screwed up.. den our section commander veri sianz oso.. so we juz fire for fun lo.. hahah.. after tt nothing le.. oh ya.. we actualli haf a navy talk for some of us in e evening.. so we got to go back to our company line.. so happy man.. we haf be trying so hard not to shit out field. haha.. finally tis is e time.. but when we took e tunnel back.. they said e talk cancelled.. at first when me and my best army frd heard tt our heart nearly sunk.. but thankfully e 2 hrs were given to us free so we can do anything we like.. we shit.. den eat some fresh rations from e OOT (Out Of Training) pple.. although there is onli rice and vegetables.. we still eat until feel like crying man.. haha.. u all can imagine how bad is e combat ration.. den we oso eat oreos.. took some water to wash our body.. haha.. although we break e rules.. but who cares.. first time we shit until so emotional man.. haha.. damn funny la.. den when get back we nv powder bath.. but still we got powder abit on our own la.. den some of them e instructors gave them potato chips.. damn sianz.. cos i veri far la.. damn.. haha..
4th day - its our Technical Break!! but hoh.. as e CO come to inspect our camp site and said tt our drainage system was not done properly.. we had to digged until afternoon den cleaned our rifle.. den finally we had our break.. we had our 1st taste of fresh ration.. so happy.. as many afraid will haf e urge to shit after eating vegetables.. they all nv eat.. den one of my frds gave me his share of vegetable.. whoa.. eat until damn full.. after tt we slacked throughout e day.. we even talked abt ghost stories.. den one of my bunk mates can sensed ghost de.. so amazing.. we oso get to bath for 5 mins lo.. haha.. oh ya.. forgot to mention.. dunno y oso.. my camou is e most permanent and prominent one.. veri rarely need to touch up.. but is e easier to come off.. as a result.. i got a veri clean face after bath and all my e other friends haf eyes shadow and mascara lo.. damn funny man!! haha.. den at nite no powder bath and we had a veri gd nite rest..
5th day - we had a 3 km run in e morning.. our final destination is e most eastern part of Tekong.. and e island we saw across is malaysia.. eh.. actualli i dunno y eastern la.. dunno which direction oso.. cant remember.. anyway.. e scenery there is so damn beautiful la.. i heard tt Tekong is being planned to transformed into residential island.. if tt is e case.. i wont mind buying a piece of land at tt point.. e sun rise is so damn beautiful.. 1st time i saw a rainbow colour cloud lo.. can u all imagine?? its so beautiful man.. den e sea breeze is fantastic.. can see e mountain and hills across being hidden behind haze.. ahhh.. heaven.. after we got back got demonstrations from instructors.. den we practice our fire drills and IA (i forgot wat it stands for le.. sorry huh.. hee..) damn tired.. especially e artillary drill in e end.. our sect commander said if we cant run to e campsite fastest than him.. each person account to 10 push ups.. whoa.. he nv take helmet and rifle lo.. of cos faster.. somemore he nv do e drills juz now.. in end we onli do 20 push ups though all of us nv ran past him.. i nearly ran past him.. but he caught up in e end.. damn.. den at nite we route march to reclaimed land.. oh well.. cooling.. but as we are wearing long 4 to march.. its was damn hot as it cannot dissipate heat well.. oh ya.. alone e road we saw a white dog.. when i was abt to wave to him.. my frd stopped me.. he told me its not a real dog.. something has possessed it.. he said he sense something veri wrong.. oh well.. tt nite we no need to build basha juz need to put a ground sheet.. den we had our resupply again.. den we had powder bath lo.. actualli onli 2 were to slp on one ground sheet but in e end 4 of us slp on one cos at nite damn cold and oso below got thorn so muz put 2 ground sheets.. oh well.. tt nite was quite cosy.. oh ya.. e sky is full of stars.. so many stars man.. but compared to Chiangmai Overseas CIP tt time.. of cos lose la.. but it still alot..
6th day - in e morning.. e dirty long 4 we left to dry became veri wet cos of morning dew.. damn.. but i wan to leave e clean one for book out.. so bo bian.. haf to wear e wet long 4.. so cold la.. haha.. den we rest until 9 den we start diggin our shell scrip (dunno how to spell la.. juz a defensive underground thingy.. whoa.. e ground is hard.. at first was easy.. but as i dig.. i dig into ant nest.. so i haf to shift.. damn.. i digged quite alot liao le.. den e place i shifted was damn hard la.. cos talk grass.. i had to clear it first.. den digged.. one of my bunk mate digged veri fast cos his is juz soft sand.. den we practically digged throughout e day.. e temperature in e afternoon is so hot.. 33.7 degree celsius le.. sianz.. but after completing.. there is a sense of achievement.. it reminds me e CIP i did in Chiangmai.. oso digging.. haha.. we had fresh rations tt day.. so happy.. but CO came to inspect us again.. actualli we supposed to dig at nite and in e morning cos not up to standard.. but our company chao geng lo.. haha.. den at nite we slept in e place we dug.. like grave like tt sia.. but is so nice to slp in.. dunno y la.. haha.. eh.. we lit some candles all around.. quite cool sia.. but we oso playing la.. set fire to burn e insects.. abit cruel hoh.. :p..
7th day - we woke up early to cover up e place we dug.. eh.. we were abit rushed.. cos 2 other Companies (Orion & Mohawk) were competing with us (Raven) to be earliest to reach there la.. cos each company took around 3 hrs and we want to meet e timing for our book out lo.. hee.. den we set off to BIC (Battle Innocation Course.. eh.. dunno spell correct anot.. haha..).. we route march there.. but without field bag.. so song.. e field bag was being sent back to company line.. in e end we marched veri fast.. luckily.. we were e 1st to reach there.. so when e other 2 Companies arrived.. can see abit of disappointment on their faces.. haha.. whoa.. BIC veri xiong sia.. at first heard onli 70 m long.. but damn shag.. more shag den any run i did before.. we had to leopard crawl and back crawl through out lo.. got wire entanglement.. den after crawling need throw a dummy grenade for simulation.. haha.. but wat a experience.. when we finished.. all our webbing and uniform was sandy.. and elbow got scratches.. haix.. my sand flies bites got worst lo.. realli severe le.. actualli i wont mind having more days of field camp.. unless i am free of e bites.. super irritating.. after tt we route marched back to company line.. everyone morale was high.. in e afternoon.. we spent 2 hrs cleaning rifle den send in our rifle.. den spent 3 hrs cleaning up and get ready to book out.. we oso rushed to do area cleaning.. we had a hard time cos e camou stained e basin and damn hard to get it off.. at ard 7 plus we finally got to book out.. oh ya.. i checked my hp.. she nv msged me.. she nv wished me happy birthday.. i am so damn sad.. haix.. she realli forget me le?? haix.. i cant forget her.. i kept thinking whether she will msged me happy birthday throughout e field camp.. now i noe e answer le.. i am so sad..
When i reached home.. i am so damn shagged.. i oso so damn hungry tt i eat alot.. haha.. actualli we supposed to go out as section.. but tink e rest all too tired den e outing is cancelled lo.. haha.. i slept on e sofa as usual.. in e middle of e nite.. my dad woke me up for supper..by e way.. i lost around 3 kg throughout e field camp.. haha.. :p.. but i still ended up slping on sofa.. but went back to my own bed at around 8 in e morning..

rAnGe...
Eh.. tis week of BMT quite sianz actualli.. but i will try to write some la..
Let me see.. Monday.. we have our swimming catergorization test.. super bo liao one la.. juz ask u to swim 50m breast stroke for them to see and group u into Cat A, B or C lo.. which A means can swim 50m without problem, C means can swim 50m but wif abit of problem and C means cannot swim.. i of cos Cat A la.. haha.. den we haf our Introduction to Field Camp (IFC).. juz teach us how to build a basar tent and how to build defence wall wif constantina wire.. eh.. dunno spell correctly anot.. haha..
Then next 3 days is our range la.. we will haf to wake up early in e morning to go to e range area.. super bo liao lo.. sit there for few hrs den go shoot for a while den go back and wait again.. no exercise no nothing.. juz sit there stone or talk softly or read magazine.. yawnz.. Tuesday is still alright.. cos we using 100m range.. so no need to run tt much.. den Wednesday and Thursday we using 300m range.. so when we haf to run to e 100m range to shoot den run back to clear arms again.. wif helmet and webbing on.. super tiring.. somemore while waiting they don allow us to slp.. e training shack at e 100m range is big lo.. more spacious but e 300m range one super cramp.. damn it.. but oso bo bian.. haha.. so whole day practically no exercise but sit there wait den lunch.. shoot a while den wait for dinner again.. whoa.. will become fat one..
As for my range is super cock up.. my rifle cannot be zero-ed to my eyes so i haf to do combat zero-ing which require alot of help from assistant but mine is super f*** up one.. so my marksmanship is gone la.. super sad la.. haix..
Anyway.. book out on Thursday nite but haf to book in on Friday nite cos field camp is coming which is on e Saturday morning.. sianz.. no life sia.. hope Chinese New Year faster come cos after tt e schedule quite relax le.. haha..

hEcTiC wEeK...
Hmmm.. tis week was rather a hectic week.. dunno y oso.. we did not do much but we all felt damn bloody tired.. maybe is bcos we got no time to sit down and rest.. whole day is juz doing things.. go back bunk change attire and fall in again.. whoa.. realli sick of it la.. haha.. tell u wat happen tis week..
Basic Close Combat Training (BCCT) - tis is practically a hell plus tekan section la.. e CCT instructors will not joke around one.. and they mean business.. movement too slow or shout too soft we will kana one la.. haha.. everyone feared of tt particular lesson.. moreover.. onli tt lesson alone will make u lose ur voice la.. -_-".. pengz..
Weapon Presentation - it was a veri prestigious ceremony.. but i tink is quite stupid la.. cos we haf to wait for 2 plus hr for e sun to set and e sky to turn dark and kept rehearsing until e Commanding Officer (CO) of BMTC School 2 to come.. haix.. stand until muscles ache.. somemore cant go toilet.. haf to wait for everything finish le.. but it was quite memorable la.. haha.. especially u haf to snatch e weapon from ur Platoon Commander (PC).. our PC is playing us la.. grabbed e rifle so tight.. i snatched from him hard.. den me and him nearly banged into each other.. -_-".. tt day was damn busy..
IMT - eh... forget wat it stand for le.. but is basically simulation for range la.. we practically practice our target there.. from Wed to Sat.. we practically spent e whole morning doing there.. shoot from all sorts of positions and day and nite time.. it was quite slack la.. once u finished assiting e firer and shooting.. u can sat there relaxed one corner.. talked nonsense and sometimes slp.. anyway.. juz for ur info.. i had taken e final test for IMT le.. eh.. 4 shots for each position.. 8 positions.. so total 32 shots.. i tink i missed one.. which i fired juz on e line.. dunno counted anot.. so i juz treated it as i missed la.. so i score 31/32 i tink.. marksmanship is 26/32 for range.. hopefully i can maintain tis standard when i go to range.. heard tt range is much more difficult to shoot.. ya.. happy le..
Route March - Friday we had our 6km route march.. we marched around e costal road for 3 times.. marched until damn sianz.. furthermore e weather is so hot in e afternoon and we were damn shagged from morning IMT liao.. so it was quite a tough time.. one of my section mates fainted in between.. but we had to carry on la.. cos everyone so tired and no mood to sing so i practically haf to shout damn loud.. i shouted using all my efforts.. in e end?? i lost my voice again!! hahah.. as usual.. i always lost my voice during march.. my frds all asked me to rest le but bo bian le.. haix.. having a sore throat now.. den tt day during interval break.. 2 of my section mates quarrelled.. aiya.. over some trivial matter la.. stupid.. tink weather too hot le.. luckily e sergeants nv punished them.. but it was quite a gd march la..
Today damn slacked.. haf e IMT test den we booked out liao.. went to beach road to buy some field camp stuffs.. spend quite alot la.. preparation sucks la.. still got something haf to buy.. den after tt went to my cousin's hse to celebrate my aunt's birthday.. haf buffets.. whoa.. got alot of nice food.. eh.. at least much much better than army food.. got pizza le.. long time no eat pizza le.. haha..
Next week got BCCT lesson again.. haix.. but we booking out on Thursday got Hari Raya Haji.. Rite?? haha.. forget le.. but having 3 days range from Tuesday to Thursday.. Sianz.. den i tink booking in on Friday nite den next day got for Field camp le.. song bo.. haix.. but everything will be over soon hopefully.. after Chinese New Year will be slack liao.. haha..

BaSiC MiLiTaRy TrAiNiNg...
Hmmm.. PTP is finally over and BMT is starting tml le.. tis week finally haf my Technical Handling Test.. pass e test of cos.. i tink i got e highest marks in my Section.. haha.. consider i not from Uniform Group.. i am e fastest in stripping and assembling of e rifle.. other than tis.. i oso did pretty well for other aspects.. den haf our 1st 4 km road march.. it was a pretty good one i tink.. e whole platoon put in e effort to keep in steps.. sing out loud and our morale is high.. most importantly.. we did onli 3 times marching on e spot.. haha..
Oh ya.. got a taste of e IMT.. whcih is a computerized simulator for real range la.. we got to shoot in proning postition and foxhole position.. my foxhole postition is quite good but i tink my proning position sucks la.. sigh..
Hmmm.. got tekan when comes to area cleaning.. haix.. we realli clean veri thoroughly but e sergeants still try their means and ways to find faults.. every faults accounted to 5 pushups.. and we in e end did alot of push-ups and crunches.. haha..
Tis few days quite slack.. due to new enlistments and oso e weather is not good la.. haha.. so practically stay in e bunk for veri long time.. yesterday is e most stupid one la.. we got Physical training in e morning till 9 plus den we slack all e way until evening and den we book out.. -_-".. waste out time lo.. everyone slept in e bunk.. haha..
Eh.. last nite went out wif my section mates.. though onli 6 of us turned up.. but is quite nice la.. we first met at Spinelli beside Heeren at 11 plus.. i am e 2nd to reach.. den my frd introduced a veri pretty gal to me.. haha.. to tell e truth.. e gal was realli pretty la.. den when others came.. we went to a nearby pub for drink.. actualli we wont be able to get in bcos e pub onli allows people 25 and above.. but e waitress there close "one eye" la.. we drank quite alot.. we ordered 5 shots of Kama Sutra.. each Kama Sutra got 5 drinks.. den each of us ordered a drink each again.. my frd recommended Lychee Martini.. quite nice la.. we stayed there got quite some times.. den e waitress there kept refilling e chips for us.. still gave us extra finger food.. haha.. e waitress who kept serving us was quite pretty.. e most coincident is tt she was e same age as us and she recognized one of my section mates.. haha.. her name is called Stacy i tink.. before we left we ordered a jug of beer.. it was a killer blow for all my frds exluding me.. they were all drunk la.. haha..
After tt we went to Paradigm to play pool.. we played for an hr den zao le.. chey.. i tot my section mates will be good but in e end i beat them all.. haha.. luckily le.. around 2 plus den my frd's dad came to fetch us home la.. reach home around 3 plus.. oh.. actualli my dad's birthday fell on Saturday.. but i got to book out late and he got to work.. so nv celebrate lo..
Haix.. got to book in today.. next few weeks will be damn xiong.. got Basic Close Combat Training (BCCT), weapon presentation, field camp which will be coming up soon and oso our range.. ya.. den sianz la.. but after Chinese New Year we will be quite slack alreadi.. Luckily we got to 5 1/2 days of break for Chinese New Year.. haha.. song bo..

nEw yEaR ReSoLuTiOnS...
Hmmm.. good bye to 2004.. a veri eventful year.. shld i say too eventful perhaps.. all e memories.. sad or happy.. all will stay in my mind for e rest of my life.. having quite a tough yr.. hope next yr will be a good one..
My new year resolutions.. 1stly.. and most imptly is to get a good results for A'level and be able to go to University.. 2ndly.. is to complete my BMT and go through Passing Out Parade (POP).. 3rdly.. good health to my family and all my frds out there.. not forgetting them getting good results for A's.. noe i abit greedy.. but i got alot more to say.. 4thly.. everyone is able to find their true love.. 5thly.. i hope she lead a good life.. everything she does will be smoothly and well.. hope she will be realli happy forever.. and e list goes on..
Eh.. tis book out realli did nothing much.. nv realli go out.. onli went to play billard and pool last nite for few hrs.. tts my fav hobby la.. haha.. anyway.. good luck to all!! may all ur resolutions come true.. take care dude!

nEw yEaR eVe & nEw yEaR!!
Ok.. nothing much to say.. cos i nv realli go out.. stuck in e hse.. firstly bcos of e stupid weather.. keep on raining.. secondly bcos everyone seems so busy.. no on jio me out.. haix.. damn it.. furthermore been slping alot ever since come back from camp.. not enough slp la.. haha.. oh.. got go out a while.. went to meet my frd, Xuwen.. she got thing to pass to me.. so went to J8 meet her.. den saw her sis too.. but after passing e thing den i zao home le.. boring le.. wat a boring festive season..
Anyway.. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.. hope u all got a wonderful yr ahead.. booking in tis Sunday evening.. sianz.. tts all.. take care..
